AN ORDINANCE TO RETAIN MILLER, MAST & MASON, LTD. AS SPECIAL REAL ESTATE LEGAL COUNSEL TO ASSIST WITH REAL ESTATE MATTER
WHEREAS, the Village of Killbuck is evaluating vacating and relocating Tressel Alley, and has determined that special real estate legal counsel is necessary for consultation on said matter; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Village Council desire to retain the law firm of Miller, Mast & Mason, Ltd. (Attorney Max Miller) for special real estate legal counsel services in connection with the Tressel Alley matter, on an hourly basis.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED as follows by the Council for the Village of Killbuck, Ohio:
SECTION I. The law firm of Miller, Mast & Mason, Ltd. (Attorney Max Miller) is hereby retained to provide special real estate legal counsel services in connection with the Tressel Alley matter, on an hourly basis.
SECTION II. It is found and determined that all formal actions of this Council concerning and relating to the adoption of this Ordinance were adopted in an open meeting of Council, and that all deliberations of the Council and of any of its committees that resulted in such formal action were in meetings open to the public in compliance with all legal requirements.
SECTION III. This Ordinance shall take effect retroactively on August 25, 2021 upon adoption by Council and signature of the Mayor.
