Discussion: Ted Thorpe made a motion to approve the minutes from August 3, 2022, Cindy Miller seconded, with all others approving, motion carried.

Fiscal Officer Report:
Representative’s Name: Linda Campbell
Discussion: Fiscal Officer inquired about purchasing a colored printer for the office from Think Ink, after some discussion concerning maintenance contracts which the fiscal officer will check into. Ted Thorpe made a motion to purchase, Tyler McCombs seconded, with all others approving.

Street Report:
Representative’s Name: Steve Patterson
Discussion: The sign installation is complete. There were three signs from the original grant map that were missing and some did not have reflectors. We contacted Rod Arnold from the county to see if we could get some of the reflective tape from them. Two tons of asphalt to fix potholes in the alleys. Ordered the paint hopefully to be in next week. Still need 25 flags. Still spraying for mosquitoes when weather is permitting.
Park Report:
Representative’s Name: Rick Allison
Discussion: Gaven Sheldon is having a softball tournament to benefit the park along with a chicken barbecue August 20th. Soccer started this week. Jeff Gallion is going to look for a tree to be planted in memory of LouAnn Rippeth to be planted at Brian’s field. Cory Baker from the County is going to do the signs marking what field they are. Steve and Clay are going to work on painting the tractor shed.

Discussion: The camera will be here August 22. Backflow ordinance is taken care of.

Discussion: Attended the OMAA seminar in July.

Discussion: The Mayor recommended Erica Ash to fill the vacant seat of Travis Scott. Ted Thorpe made the motion to appoint Erica, Cindy Miller seconded, with all others approving, motion carried.

Discussion: Craig Hitchcock reached out to the village concerning holding a drive in movie at the park. Council stated they are fine with it being held at the park.
Discussion: Extra police coverage for the festival, Linda will contact Tim Stryker to set up extra patrolling.
Executive Session:
To discuss the possible acquisition of property
Ted Thorpe made a motion to go into executive session at 7:10 PM, Gary Wagers seconded, with all others approving, motion carried.
Ted Thorpe made a motion to adjourn from executive session at 8:07 PM, Cindy Miller seconded, with all others approving, motion carried.
No action will be taken from executive session.
