Killbuck Village Council met in regular session on November 16, 2022 at 7:00 pm in the Village Hall 138 S Main Street Killbuck, OH 44637 with Rick Allison presiding.

Street Report:
Representative’s Name: Steve Patterson
Discussion: Leaf pick is almost complete and there will not be any more pick up unless the debris is bagged after November 25th. Flags will be taken down and the Christmas light will be put up within the week. Would like to look into having different poles for the flags. Had to get a new bearing for the salt spreader. 60 tons of salt has been ordered. Aber’s Crane Services admitted and will pay for the repairs.

Discussion: Bathrooms are closed. Parking lot completed, finishing up paperwork. Two new flags ordered for the park. Would like to plant a tree in memory of LouAnn Rippeth and for Gary Wagers. Stopped at Holmes Redimix and they will donate some concrete for the the pavilion behind field three.

Presented By: Mayor
Discussion: Two residents presented themselves to council for consideration of the vacant council seat. Aimee Raber and Dick Patterson. Each took a few minutes to introduce themselves and give a brief statement as to why they want to serve their community on the village council. The council then took a ballot vote and the mayor announced that Dick Patterson had 4 votes and 1 vote for Aimee Raber.
Ted Thorpe made the motion and recommended to the Mayor to appoint Dick Patterson to the vacant council seat. Tyler McCombs seconded, with all members approving, motion carried.

Discussion: Some discussion took place concerning the rate of speed some vehicles go through town. Also some concerns about a resident walking around town with illegal substances. Linda will contact Tim Stryker.
