Street Report:
Representative’s Name: Steve Patterson
Discussion: Christmas tree lighting went very well and was well attended. The Christmas decorations in the village are getting very old and thought we might want to consider replacing them in the future. We will look into this next fall. We will need to check with AEP concerning extra drops for electricity. Going to order one flag pole bracket to see how it works. Salt bin is full.

Discussion: All the banners are down. Stopped at Kauffman Furniture to replace rope on the playground equipment.
Sewer / Water Report:
Representative’s Name: Mike Judson
Discussion: January 20, 2023 will be the first ACH for water/sewer payments for 51 residents that signed up. Flushed hydrants. Truck is in need of replacing in the very near future.

Discussion: Will work on looking into getting them through state purchasing.
Topic: School Street traffic during school arrival and dismissal

Discussion: Even though the new traffic pattern has seemed to help there still is an issue with cars in the street during this time. Could we make it one way during certain hours etc. After some discussion we will set up a meeting again with the school to visit other options and what their thoughts are. The main issue is if the doors are not open at 8:45 it cause the traffic to back up.
Topic: Community Service for National Honor Society students

Discussion: Has been approached concerning having a student assist at the village for her community service project. Dick will follow up with the school and the student to get what hours she is available.

Executive Session:
Tyler McCombs made a motion to go into executive session to discuss personnel at 7:50 pm. Dick Patterson seconded, with all others approving, motion carried.
Lisa Kauffman made a motion to adjourn from executive session at 8:35 pm. Cindy Miller seconded, with all others approving, motion carried.
Action from executive session: Lisa Kauffman made a motion to increase clothing allowance to $450.00, give cost of living raise in the amount of 3%, and give performance bonus in the amount of 3.5% based on the employees base pay for 2022. Erica Ash seconded, with all others approving, motion carried.
