Approval of Previous Minutes:
Lisa Kauffman made a motion to approve the minutes from the previous meeting, Tyler McCombs seconded, all others approving, motion carried.

Approval of Bills: Tyler McCombs made a motion to pay the current bills in the amount of $16,775.36, Erica Ash seconded, with all others approving, motion carried.

Street Report:
Representative’s Name: Steve Patterson
Discussion: Had a tree down on South Water from the storms recently. Received a phone call from Kimble that they were unable to service 2 residents due to an electric line down. The mayor called AEP and they will be down to take care of it. Nothing from Melway on street sweeper.
Park Report:
Representative’s Name: Rick Allison
Discussion: Little league will start next week. Linda reported that Holmes Pest Control started tick treatment today.
Sewer / Water Report:
Representative’s Name: Rick Allison, Linda Campbell
Discussion: Still working on the new UB4 software. Due to the conversion having issues with Sensus uploading to Auto Read, I worked through the issues last week.
Solicitor Report:
Representative’s Name: Olivia Biltz
Working on updating the contract with the Holmes County Prosecutor. Looking into rental property ordinances and trash service.

Ted Thorpe made a motion to waive the three readings, Lisa Kauffman seconded, with all others approving, motion carried.

Prior Business:
Streetscape meeting held on Thursday April 17, Ted Thorpe inquired about some of the information that was presented. Stated that he felt there was a lot of information that OHM had not been informed about, and requested that he be included on the monthly Zoom meetings from this point forward. Linda stated that she had asked everyone if they wanted to be included and Erica was the only one who requested it. Linda will contact Jeremy and have Ted added. The project is still set to go out for bid in July.
Culvert on CR 35 still waiting on the township. Linda will follow up with the Sheriff concerning serving 2nd notice to properties, and junk vehicles.
New Business:
Discussion: Erica brought up an issue with getting the temporary wine license for Ladies night out, and it has something to do with our old ordinance. Olivia will look into updating our ordinance.
Executive Session:
Lisa made a motion to go into executive session at 8:07 PM to discuss land acquisition, Cindy Miller seconded, with all others approving, motion carried.
Ted Thorpe made a motion to come out of executive session at 8:31 PM, Cindy Miller seconded, with all others approving, motion carried.
Action from Executive Session:
Ted Thorpe made a motion to have Olivia send a letter to Penny Hamilton at 640 N Water Street (the fire damaged property) with an offer to buy her property, Erica Ash seconded, with all others approving, motion carried.

Olivia will draft a letter and send it to Linda for the Mayor’s signature.
