Killbuck Village Council met in regular session on January 4, 2021 at 7:00 pm via WebEx with Mayor Denny Hahn presiding.

Discussion: Need to present minutes for 12/21/20 and 12/30/20 at next meeting on January 19, 2021.
Fiscal Officer Report:

Discussion: Will be working on year end balances to certify to the County Auditor, purchase orders and appropriations for 2021.

2021-001 ORDINANCE
ORDINANCE REGULATING ANIMALS AND PROHIBITING ANIMAL NUISANCES WITHIN THE VILLAGE OF KILLBUCK, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY

Discussion: Cindy Miller questioned the language concerning the number of rabbits. The Mayor will look into getting more information concerning the 4-H guidelines and will contact Julie to modify the language according to 4-H.

Discussion: Would like to proceed with the village purchasing said property for green space. Ted Thorpe made a motion for the Fiscal Officer and Solicitor to follow up with said property, Travis Scott seconded, with all others approving.
Topic: Vac Truck
Presented By: Fiscal Officer
Discussion: Mike reached out to Jack Doheny Truck Company concerning the options with our truck. He was told that they would not take the truck in on trade because of the age and it is approximately only worth 40 to 50 thousand dollars. As far as the repairs to the truck it would probably cost around $50,000 give or take. After some discussion council would like to have further verification of the value of the truck. Linda will talk to Mike.
New Business:
Topic: Fiscal Officer contacting Quicksall and Associates, Inc concerning grant opportunities.
Presented By: Mayor
Discussion: The Mayor would like the Fiscal Officer to reach out to Quicksall and Associates concerning any grant opportunities that might be available for the village. After some discussion Ted Thorpe made a motion to proceed, Travis Scott seconded, with all others approving.
