Street Report:

Discussion: The 2022-2023 salt contract is due April 29th, 2022, Steve would like to order 120 tons this year.  Julie will prepare a resolution for the next meeting.   

There is an issue with semis on North Railroad Street delivering to 533 Railroad Street (Stringfellow) discussed installing no thru truck sign, or having Mr. Stringfellow speak to his delivery company about entering from Front Street 

Brad McCluggage at 156 Elm Street would like to have some top soil hauled in due to the increased traffic from the road closure caused by high water.  Rick will discuss with Steve. 

Steve requested to have three trash cans replaced that have been damaged.

Park Report:

Representative’s Name: Rick Allison

Discussion:  Steve & Clay finished the trim on the dugouts.  Ordered pop.  Unsure of the start date for little league but girls softball will start practice in the next week or so. Ordered new flags. Still working on getting the scoreboards installed.

Sewer / Water Report:

There was a water break at Don Meehan’s going across the creek at 3154 SR 60. The guys repaired it.

Solicitor Report:

Discussion: Registered for the MOL seminar on March 26th. Ohio’s basic code is at the prosecutor’s office.  Linda will deliver to Holmes County Municipal court and the Sheriff’s department. Working on the finance documents for the Vac truck.

Topic: Privacy Fence

Discussion:  Sue Fair at 240 North Water Street inquired concerning installing a privacy fence.  Steve will go and look at the property and discuss it with the property owner. 

She also inquired about mailboxes, stated that her neighbor put it on her property.  Council will inquire but believe that the post office determines where the mailbox is to be. Linda will check with the post office.
