The regular meeting of the Village of Killbuck Council was called to order at 7:00 p.m. on December 29, 2025.

Approval of Previous Minutes:
Ted Thorpe made a motion to approve the minutes of the previous meeting. The motion was seconded by Erica Ash.

Approval of Bills:
Lisa Kauffman made a motion to approve the payment of bills in the amount of $19,017.31. The motion was seconded by Ted Thorpe.

Fiscal Officer Report:
Representative’s Name: Linda Campbell
Council reviewed the 2026 Budget. Will approve in Legislation.
Street Report:
The Street Department has been plowing and salting as needed due to winter weather conditions. Council requested that the holiday snowflake decorations remain up until the end of January.
Park Report:
The playground equipment installation and sidewalk improvements have been completed.
Grants (ODNR):
Fiscal Officer Linda Campbell reported she will contact the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) to finalize the pending grant.
Sewer / Water Report:
A water leak was reported in the area near Tony Galford’s property. The leak is repaired.
Solicitor Report:
The Village Solicitor stated that this was the last council meeting she would attend. She advised that she will continue to assist the Village with any pending legal matters on a month-to-month bases charging her previous contractual rate.
Council Business:
Council reviewed the 2026 meeting schedule. After discussion concerning the projected revenue shortfall in 2026, Ted Thorpe made a motion to hold one council meeting per month, to be held on the third Monday of each month commencing at 7:00PM at the Village Hall 138 S Main Street Killbuck. The motion was seconded by Lisa Kauffman.
