Discussion:  Fiscal officer is working on the 2022 financial statement which is due by February 28 she hopes to complete before next council meeting.

Street Report:

Representative’s Name: Steve Patterson

Discussion: Inquiry concerning posting a slow traffic sign on Mullet Drive. Steve will look at the location and for proper signage. Flag pole is in, will install on the village hall building to see how well it works. Trash can lid is ordered.

Park Report:

Discussion: The pavilion is finished.

Sewer / Water Report:

Representative’s Name: Dick Patterson

Discussion: Inquired if the three workers still rotate the weekend call for water/sewer.  Steve stated that yes they do.  Inquired about the amount of chlorine that is used to treat the water, stated that a couple weeks ago it was so strong that he couldn’t drink the water out of his tap.  Steve stated that the three rotate weekends. The strong chlorine could have happened for a lot of reasons and if it continues to let Mike know.

Steve and Erin came to inquire if there were any questions concerning the master service agreement that Julie has been reviewing.  Mayor stated that he did not just whatever Julie wanted/needed addressed.

Discussion: Met with Cory Miller and the Rep from Burnham & Flower of Ohio/Public Entities Pool of Ohio.  The coverage is more specialized for a government entity along with offering better coverage at a better premium they also offer a reimbursable grant for safety equipment in the amount of 1,000.00.  Cory will get back with us on the final numbers but it appears to be a savings between 4,000 and 6,000 with additional coverage and benefits.

Discussion: Spoke with Mrs. Mullen and she will try to make the council meeting on February 15th.

Discussion: The student that inquired is unable to make the hours work that the fiscal officer is available.  Dick will contact the HS principal and see if there is any other student that could work during the hours of operation with the fiscal officer.

Discussion:Ordered the box that will be inside the building.  Spoke with Scott Landon the mail carrier to make sure that it will work for him.

Topic: Traffic pattern at the school

Discussion:  The drop off in the AM is not improving but the afternoon pick up is going much better.  The no thru truck is not being enforced.  Linda will get with Tim Stryker concerning patrolling in the AM.  Possibly need to set up a meeting with the school and address the issue.
