Discussion: Lisa Kauffman made a motion to approve the minutes with corrections from December 28, 2022, Cindy Miller seconded, with all others approving, motion carried.

Discussion: Dick Patterson made a motion to approve the month of December appropriation, revenue, fund summaries, accounts payable and payroll, Tyler McCombs seconded, with all others approving, motion carried.

Street Report:
Representative’s Name: Steve Patterson
Discussion: Flag pole was ordered and will arrive within the week. Will install on the village hall to see how it works. Lights are fixed at Bucy’s Allison. Found trash can lids and will need to order to replace the broken ones.
Park Report:
Representative’s Name: Rick Allison
Discussion: Atlee from Heritage Ridge Construction called to say the Holmes Rental billed him for the rental of the ditch witch & the dingo auger driver will have them billed directly to the village. Will be having a park board meeting in the near future.
Sewer / Water Report:
Representative’s Name: Mike Judson
Discussion: The first ACH payment will take place on January 17, 2023. The income survey letters will be sent with the next water bills.
Solicitor Report:
Representative’s Name: Julie Dreher
Discussion: Reviewed councils wishes for the vacant building letters to be sent to 250 Main Street Shane Snyder and 303 Grover Street Robert Moore. Julie reviewed the options for 250 Main Street since this property was granted a variance in September of 2018. Council wishes to have the letter sent stating that she needs to register for the 1st year with the 800.00 fee. Julie will draft letters for council approval.

Topic: Drop box outside of village hall

Discussion:
Linda requested to have a new drop box installed due to the mail getting wet. Steve got online and picked out a few options. After some discussion Tyler McCombs made a motion to purchase new drop box, Dick Patterson seconded, with all others approving.
Steve will do some more measurements to figure out which box is the best option.

Discussion: The fiscal officers notary will expire on March 26, 2023 and there is a renewal fee $15.00, BCI background check $45.00 and continuing education $45.00 that has to be completed and paid. After some discussion Lisa Kauffman made a motion to reimburse the fiscal officer for the fees, Dick Patterson seconded, with all others approving, motion carried.
