Street Report:
Representative’s Name: Steve Patterson
Discussion:Have had discussion with Quicksall concerning Grant Street, they have presented four different options, and will continue to review the best option. Steve will schedule a street sweeper when he returns.
Park Report:
Representative’s Name: Rick Allison
Discussion: The park had a benefit this past weekend that was well attended. Fall league is starting July 25th, 11 teams have signed up. The Paul Laney softball tournament will be the last weekend in July. Penny Patterson and Jr. Hendrix are organizing a tournament for the Hometown Heroes.

Topic: Food Truck at the Theater

Discussion: We were contacted by the owner’s of the Theater if they could have a food truck. Julie reviewed our ordinance and drafted a permit to allow them to do so. After some discussion Ted Thorpe made a motion to approve the permit, Tyler McCombs seconded, motion carried.
Linda will forward the permit to them.

Ted Thorpe made a motion to go into executive session at 7:20pm to discuss personnel, Tyler McCombs seconded, with all others approving, motion carried.
Lisa Kauffman made a motion to adjourn from executive session at 7:40pm, Dick Patterson seconded, with all others approving, motion carried.
Action from executive session: Lisa Kauffman made a motion to hire Brooke Landon full time at a rate of $18.00 starting July 6th, 2023 Dick Patterson seconded, with all others approving, motion carried.
