A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN ADJUSTMENT TO THE (2041) PARK FUND, 2021 APPROPRIATION, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY
WHEREAS, Park Fund 2041 requires a supplemental amount of $19,500.00 to be appropriated to it, as a result of current and additional expenditures for 2021.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Village of Killbuck, Ohio, two thirds or more of the members elected thereto concurring that:
SECTION ONE: Council does hereby authorize the supplemental appropriation to Park Fund 2041 in the amount of $19,500.00, resulting in a total appropriation of $39,987.60 for Park Fund 2041.
SECTION TWO: This Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure and shall take effect and be in force immediately from and after its passage. The reason for the emergency is that this Resolution is necessary for the immediate preservation of public peace, health, safety and welfare, and for the further reason that immediate passage is necessary to maintain correct accounting practices, to pay the current and imminent financial obligations of the Village, and to prevent expenditures from exceeding appropriations.
SECTION THREE: All prior resolutions which conflict with the provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed to the extent that they are in conflict herewith.
SECTION FOUR: If any provision of this Resolution, or the application thereof to any person or circumstance, is held invalid, the invalidity does not affect other provisions or applications of this Resolution which can be given effect without the invalid provision or application, and to this end the provisions are severable.
Passed at a regular meeting of the Killbuck Village Council duly convened with a quorum present this 17th day of May, 2021.
