A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A TRANSFER OF MONIES FROM THE GENERAL FUND TO THE PARK FUND, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY
WHEREAS, the Park Fund account is in need of additional funds to pay Park expenses, specifically, general operating expenses, in the amount of $5,000.00
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Village of Killbuck, two-thirds or more of the members elected thereto concurring, that:
SECTION ONE: Council hereby authorizes the transfer of $5,000.00 from the General Fund account to the Park Fund account for payment of Park operating expenses.
SECTION TWO: This Resolution is hereby declared to be an emergency measure and shall take effect and be in force immediately from and after its passage. The reason for the emergency is that this Resolution is necessary for the immediate preservation of public peace, health, safety and welfare, and for the further reason that immediate passage is necessary to adequately fund the Park Fund account for timely payment of Park expenses.
SECTION THREE: All prior resolutions which conflict with the provisions of this Resolution are hereby repealed to the extent that they are in conflict herewith.
SECTION FOUR: If any provision of this Resolution, or the application thereof to any person or circumstance, is held invalid, the invalidity does not affect other provisions or applications of this Resolution which can be given effect without the invalid provision or application, and to this end the provisions are severable.
Passed at a regular meeting of the Killbuck Village Council duly convened with a quorum present this 6th day of April, 2022.
